Just A Little Bit About Our Enterprise

PJSC «ArcelorMittal Kryvyi Rih» holds a leading position among the largest mining and metallurgical industry of Ukraine and also a part of an international corporation ArcelorMittal - №1 steel producer in the world. History of metallurgical plant "Krivorizhstal" started in Aug. 4, 1934, when the first cast iron was received at blast furnace №1. In 1939 was smelted first steel, and in 1974 - was blown out the most powerful in the world blast furnace №9. In 2005 JSC "Krivorizhstal" became part of "Mittal Steel", and in 2007 became part of the ArcelorMittal corporation.

Today PJSC "ArcelorMittal Krivyi Rih" - an enterprise with a full metallurgical cycle, which includes coke production, mining production (open-cast mining and underground mining) and metallurgical production, that includes operating blast furnace, steelmaking and rolling departments. The activities of PJSC "ArcelorMittal Krivoy Rog" covers the production chain from iron ore mining to manufacturing of finished steel products. In 2012, we produced 6.4 million tons of crude iron, 5.6 million tons of steel and 5.6 million tons of rolled products.

PJSC "ArcelorMittal Krivyi Rih" supplies its products to 51 countries of the world, and the main markets are the metal parts of the Middle East, Russia and CIS countries. One of the main markets of the company is the market of the CIS countries - Russia, Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Turkmenistan, Georgia, Armenia, Belarus and other countries.

Burj Khalifa Scyscraper(Dubai,United Arab Emirates )

Rebar production of PJSC "ArcelorMittal Krivyi Rih" is used in the construction of the tallest building in the world - Burj Khalifa, opened on 4 January 2010 in the largest city of the United Arab Emirates - Dubai. The exact height of the building is 828 m. It's creation took more than 60 thousand tonnes of steel reinforcement.

Flame Towers( Baku, Azerbaijan)

Metal companies used in the construction of the project Flame towers on the coast of the Caspian Sea in Baku. Flame towers - a three high-rise building heights (235, 220 and 208 meters), including a hotel, apartments and offices.

The Chernobyl Nuclear Power Plant sarcophagus( Chernobyl, Ukraine)

The exceptional characteristics of rebar production of PJSC "ArcelorMittal Krivyi Rih" is used in the construction of a unique foundation of a new sarcophagus over the destroyed fourth power unit of the Chernobyl nuclear power plant - the Shelter. Holy Trinity Cathedral of Tbilisi( Tbilisi, Georgia)

In the construction of the Cathedral of the Holy Trinity is also used products of PJSC "ArcelorMittal Krivyi Rih". The height of the upper church is 105.5 m; length from east to west - 77 m from north to south - 65 m; total area - more than 5000 square meters. Holy Trinity Cathedral of Tbilisi is in third place in the list of the highest temple in the world.

Boryspil International Airport( Кyiv, Ukraine)

Rebars of PJSC "ArcelorMittal Krivyi Rih" are used in the construction of Terminal D in Boryspil International Airport, Ukraine's largest airport complex. Products used in laying the foundation, casting bridges, road junctions and columns, as well as laying the ceiling and ancillary facilities of the terminal.

Lviv International Airport( Lviv, Ukraine)

At the Lviv Danylo Halytskiy International Airport rebar production of PJSC "ArcelorMittal Krivyi Rih" is used for reinforcing (strengthening) of reinforced concrete structures of the foundation of a new passenger terminal, as well as the reconstruction of the runway of the airport.
